11th December....
The SMS results service was launched today, by 7pm results for all but one match were submitted, allowing us to update this site with results & League tables by 8.30pm.  Thanks to all clubs who sent their results in, allowing us to improve the service the website provides.  Clubs are reminded to send back the slip with any additional / replacement mobile phone contact numbers, so we can update Full Time to send reminders to the appropriate people.

22nd November....
We are now on the FA Full Time league adminstration and Website system.  We will soon be introducing SMS text results, which will allow clubs to text in their result after the match. This will automatically update the results and league tables on Full time and allow our website to be updated more efficiently.  Our Full Time home page can be obtained by clicking HERE.

26th October....
Belle Vue Social Club FC (Division 1), have changed their name to Schooner FC,  clubs are asked to observe caution when checking fixtures etc as we also have Schooner Athletic FC in the same division.

16th October....
A day of mixed fortunes for our 2 clubs in the FA Carlsberg Sunday Cup. Rovers Quoit FC losing 1-0 to Kelloe WMC at Esh Winning, Lion Hillcarter coming back to win 5-3 over Middlesbrough South Bank (2006). Lion Hillcarter will take on Liverpool Britannia VNC in the next round on November 20th.

28th September...
The Steven Tierney Memorial Cup Games (23rd October) which were drawn at the September league meeting, have been declared void and the cup will be re-drawn at the October league meeting.  This is as a result of one team placing the incorrect result on their team sheet and the opposing team not submitting a team sheet until some time later, which did not have a result shown.  WE MUST REMIND ALL CLUBS OF THE IMPORTANCE OF ENSURING TEAM SHEETS ARE SUBMITTED AND CORRECTLY FILLED OUT.

12th September...
The FA have introduced "Player Pass", which is available to all registered players aged 16 or over. For more information go to the website at:

12th September...
We have now received correspondence from Durham County FA, confirming that the time given for clubs to return correspondence regarding discipline has now been increased from 7 days to 14 days. Clubs are advised that failure to comply will face additional fines.

01st August...
The deadline for re-registration of players has now expired.  Anyoine wishing to register for a club must now complete the standard registration form, which must be accompanied by the £7 insurance & registration fee.  Re-registration forms must not be used and will be rejected if submitted.

31st July...
Athletic Rovers FC lifted the first trophy of the new season, following a penalty shoot-out win over Rovers Quoit FC in the Arthur Gibbon Memorial Shield.  Rovers Quoit took an early lead and had a chance to extend their advantage disallowed just after the quarter hour.  Athletic equalised on 70 minutes, with Quoit then regaining the lead with 10 minutes to go.  Athletic forced the shoot-out with a well taken free kick in the last couple of minutes and secured the trophy 4-3 on penalties.  Referee Appoinments Secretary, Dennis Skilbeck presented the trophy.


23rd July...
We have recevied payment of outstanding monies from White House FC.  Therefore the block on most registered players with the club at the end of the 2010-11 season has been uplifted.  Please note several players have been blocked for owing monies to the club and will be required to reimburse White House FC before they can register for another club.  Anyone registering a player previously with White House can check their status with the league secretary.  We will soon be posting a list of players who are blocked due to outstanding monies.

02nd July.....
It is with regret that we have been informed of the resignation of White House FC from Division 2.  We would like to thank Andrew Shaw and the club for their involvment in the league in recent seasons.
